Constituent political parties of the PNU confederation have got failed to stay by an understanding to field articulation candidates.
Narc Republic Of Kenya and Kanu, which participated in the joint primaries, were yesterday busy issuing nomination certifications to some also-rans in the exercise.
This follows a determination by PNU Council - the top determination devising organ in the political party - which listened to ailments and grudges from assorted political political political political political parties and individual campaigners on Saturday night.
Eventually, a determination was made to let some of the also-rans to vie on individual parties' ticket alongside those of PNU.
Collect certificate
Water curate Mutua Katuku who is a member of the council, said they gave individual parties the greenish visible light to publish certifications to some aspirers who had lost in the primaries.
"We studied some of the ailments received by the Appeals Court and where we felt they were genuine, we gave individual parties a go-ahead to publish nomination certificates," Mister Katuku said.
Mathira military policeman Nderitu Gachagua, who won the PNU nominations was shocked when he went to accumulate his certification from the PNU caput business office only to be informed that it had been issued to his rival. Mister Gachagua was advised to accumulate Narc-K papers because the PNU certification had been issued to Mister Ephraim Maina who lost in the primaries.
He dismissed the party's election board as corrupt and incompetent. "This is a jeer of the whole PNU nomination exercise. I will not give in. I will mobilise my people in Mathira constituency who will come up and encampment here (at PNU headquarters) and they will only go forth this topographic point after I acquire my certificate."
Dr Chris Murungaru who lost the PNU nomination to Mister Nemesyus Warugongo was issued with a Narc-K certification to support his Kieni seat.
Individual parties
Outgoing Ntonyiri military policeman Maoka Maore, who boycotted the PNU nominations, also obtained a Kanu certificate.
Dr Murungaru said he had filed a ailment over abnormalities with the board. Mister Katuku said it was decided that joint primary elections be held in 140 constituencies, individual political parties vie for 30 seating and about 40 slots be reserved for direct nominations.

The curate cited Mister Katoo ole Metito's lawsuit who indicated he would contend the Kajiado South place on a Narc-K ticket instead of PNU.
Assistant curate Danson Mungatana also denied studies that he had been nominated to vie on a PNU ticket, saying he would be defending his Garsen place on Narc-K flag. "We had agreed that because of the political state of affairs in certain areas, individual political parties put up their ain candidates," said Mister Mungatana, who is the party's organising secretary.
Ford People, another PNU affiliate party, also issued certifications to outgoing mononuclear phagocyte system in Gusii.
